Duane Harwood Obituary

Duane Harwood, 63, of Clifford passed away April 1, 2024 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.
Duane was born August 15, 1960 in Bad Axe, Michigan to the late Vernon and Marjorie (Wisneski) Harwood. He graduated from Bad Axe High School with the class of 1978. Duane was the owner and operator at Harwood Excavating and Trucking. He loved his work. Duane like to hunt, fish, including ice fishing, riding his side by side and camping.
Duane is survived by his significant other, Terri Orban; step children, Tori (Derek) Platte and Zach (Hunter) Orban; step grandchildren, Josie Platte, Harlyn Wright, Grayson Wright-Orban and Remington Wright-Orban; son, Shawn Harwood; grandchildren, Alexis Harwood, Rhianna Harwood and Riley Harwood; brother, Dale (Alaina) Harwood; sister, Sandy Harwood; nephews, Chad Morgan, Jim Morgan, Jesse Harwood, Jeremy Harwood and Jeff Harwood; step nieces and nephews, Melissa Matta, Jason (Yvette) Matta, Ryan (Lindsay) Sensenig and Matt Chicoineau.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024.
Burial will be at Colfax Cemetery at a later date.
