Bradley Daniel Worthington, 60, died unexpectedly on February 5, 2022. A resident of Lexington since 2016, Brad served as Lafayette County Planning and Economic Development Director.
Prior to accepting that position, he was Vice-President of Aerospace and Defense Services for McCollisters' Transportation Group, Inc.
Brad had worked in Aerospace for Lockheed-Martin in Denver for 35 years before his retirement and move to Lexington.
Professional associations included Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors; International Facilities Management Association; Lockheed Martin PRIDE Employee Resource Group Ally Relations Sponsor; American Society of Transportation and Logistics, Material Handling Industry of America; Lafayette County Health Department Board of Directors to name a few.
Surviving are his wife Tami Kay Worthington and six children:
Eric Worthington (Kaydi) of Denver, Colorado; Brittany Goldgrabe (Cameron) of Plainfield, Illinois; Danielle Worthington (Treena) of Columbia, Missouri; Amanda Langenhorst (Jake) of Overland Park, Kansas; Rebecca Worthington, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and Alex Worthington of Lexington. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Logan, Emelia, Maelyn, Ada, Nolan and Henry; his mother Mary Ann Selby of Colorado; stepmother Susan Worthington of Lexington; Mother-in-Law Bonnie Feeney of Lexington; brothers Greg Worthington (Sylvia) of Colorado; Paul Worthington (Laura) of Colorado; and sister Roberta Fanoele (Mark) of Kansas; Sheila Chimento (Jim) of Louisiana; and Dennis Hinman (Lorrie) of Virginia; Debbie Coler of Texas; Randy Selby (Keely) of Oklahoma; Tim Selby (Jeanne) of Louisiana; Sister-in-Law Trohe Ashley (Dan) of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Brad's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brad's memory may be made to the Lexington High School Cross Country Team, in care of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245.
