Funeral services for Jerry Bush, 75, of Welling, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was at Bush Cemetery in Marble City under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Bush was born on Oct. 1, 1948, in Marble City to Tom Bush and Margaret (Bullett) Bush. He died on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Welling.
He was a truck driver and a member of Keetoowah Nighthawk Society. He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and visiting.
Survivors include his companion, Carol Owen of the home; two daughters, Carol Chambers of Fort Gibson and Regina Ward of Tahlequah; one son, J.T. "Joe" and Lisa Bush of Tahlequah; one sister, Phyllis Edwards of Marble City; nine grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jerry Thomas Bush Jr.; one daughter, Donna Bush; and five brothers, Donald Bush, Tim Bush, Nelson Bush, Dee Bush and Jackie Bush.
Pallbearers were Logan Bush, Mason Bush, Ethan Chambers, Dylan Ward, Samuel Brackett, Tom Brackett and Chris Bush.
