BERNADETTE "BERNIE" EAGAN Bernadette W. "Bernie" Eagan, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, in Las Vegas. She was born December 22, 1934, on a farm in southwest Michigan and graduated from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, Illinois in 1954. She retired in 2000 from Panduit Corporation in Tinley Park, Illinois. Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Bessie Bischoff; as well as her five siblings. Bernie is survived by her loving husband, of 63 exciting years and high school sweetheart, Daniel Eagan; their six children, Kathleen of Missouri City, Texas, Debra of Las Vegas, Margaret of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Daniel III of San Francisco, California, Thomas of Thornton, Texas, and Elizabeth of Chicago Heights, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed Revolutionary War reenacting with her husband, family and friends that were like family. There will be a wake 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. There will be a celebration of her life at 10 a.m. at St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. There will also be a wake 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 18. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, both at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home, 540 Dixie Highway, Chicago Heights, Illinois. She will then make her final journey home to Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: in Las Vegas, St. Viator School, Attn: Renee Alex, Tuition Assistance, 4246 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119. In check legend note in memory of Bernadette Eagan. In Chicago, Marion Catholic High School. Please see the school website marianchs.com under the "Give to Marian" tab. Donations can also be sent to the Advancement Office with "In Memory of Bernadette Eagan" in the memo.
