Linda Krenn Obituary

Linda M Krenn Cambridge, WI - Linda Krenn, longtime operator of Rhythm Therapeutic Riding in Plymouth, WI, died on June 18, 2024, following a heart attack. She was 66 and had lived in Cambridge in recent years.

At Rhythm, Krenn used five specially trained horses and one pony to provide intensive physical and cognitive therapies to children dealing with a wide range of special needs. Over the years, the number of children she worked with grew to more than 200. Rhythm ceased operation in 2013 when Krenn moved with her family to Dane County, seeking specialized medical treatment for her own daughter at UW Hospitals and Clinics.

Prior to operating Rhythm, Krenn worked as a social worker in Sheboygan, Ozaukee and Milwaukee Counties. She also took time away from her career to raise her children.

Linda Marie Krenn was born on Jan. 11, 1958, in Chicago, the first child of Mary Jo and Donald Mydlach. She moved several times with her family before settling in Brookfield, WI. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin -- Milwaukee in 1980. That same year, she married Michael Krenn, her husband of 44 years.

Survivors include her husband and seven children. Also surviving her is her mother, two sisters and a brother.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Keystone Grill, 206 W. Main St. in Cambridge, WI. Burial in the family cemetery plot in Milwaukee will be private and held at a later date.
