Linda Piggott Obituary

WAWAKA - Linda L. Piggott, age 74, of Wawaka, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at home following a battle with cancer.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1950, to Herbert and Mary (Elliott) Wilson in Richmond, Virginia.

On Sept. 18, 1982, she became the beloved wife of Mike Piggott.

She was a mother and stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed dearly.

She worked for 42 years at Kraft Foods and enjoyed eating out, playing cards, and taking care of the house. She also loved her fur babies and mowing when the grass needed it and when it didn't.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; a niece; two nephews; a sister-in-law; and her parents.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Mike Piggott, of Wawaka; son, Jeremy Chagoya; stepdaughter, Tracy Piggott Winn, of Wawaka; two sisters, and two brothers.

A funeral service will be held in Linda's honor at 2 p.m., on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.

Burial will follow at Cosperville Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
