Duane Habjan Obituary
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susie Habjan, on December 14, 2024, and by his parents, Joseph and Irene Habjan.
Duane and Susie were the former owners of the Red School Café in Bristol, WI who cherished their staff and customers and Duane was an avid golfer who greatly enjoyed his time on the course.
Duane is survived by his siblings, Don Habjan (Genevieve Rizzo), Diane Bradek (Rick), and Debbie Splingaire; and by his nieces and nephews, Colleen O'Keefe (Ed), Jenny Opels (Dan), Matt Bradek (Jackie), Chris Habjan (Erin), Jenna Ballentine (Robert), Tommy Humphreys (Jerry) and Lorrie Humphreys (Jan). Duane was also Great-Uncle to Llewyn Opels and Madelyn, Taylor and Mason Habjan.
Duane will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

I will miss you so much Uncle Duane!
I had so many great times with you - working at the Red School Cafe with you and Aunt Susie, our heartfelt chats by your desk, working in the basement at Grandma and Grandpa's together getting their house ready to sell. We would come across some little thing or picture and immediately grab the other to share what we had found. Some of my most treasured memories are you and I dancing together at your wedding, seeing your reaction when you tried the first Potica Mom, Jackie and I made together, and when you gave me the beautiful picture of you, mom, Uncle Don and Aunt Debbie before you retired to VA.
We loved each other so much for who the other was, including and accepting each of our human flaws. I can only hope you are now at peace reunited with your beloved, Aunt Susie.
