I met Ron as a teenager in a JCPD Cadet Unit. He demonstrated his skills and taught us some skills. He was always very professional and kind spoken, but to the point in his teaching. Later as a police officer, he again taught us baton skills, defensive tactics that in many cases kept me alive. Strongest hands I ever seen. He could hold the cylinder on a wheel gun, and it wasn't moving. Lord bring easement of mind to the Family, Fellow Officers, and Friends in the days to come.

Ron and Debbie were both good and caring people. When I worked with Debbie and lived in the same neighborhood, if it snowed Ron would drive her to work and swing by to pick me up so we didn´t have to drive ourselves in the yucky weather. When my daughter was tiny Debbie stopped by with Ron dressed as Santa to surprise us and he was so sweet and we got the sweetest picture from that Christmas that I will always cherish. I will miss them both always.

Ron will be greatly missed in so many of the avenues of his life! I met Ron in the mid seventies through Karate. He was always a strong competitor back in the day, strong kicks and punches. I know, I sparred with him ,many times over the years.
I also knew him as fellow police officer, friend, and later in life as I begin to go back to church.
I always had high respect for Ron , we always enjoyed conversations no matter the topic.
Yes , Ron will be greatly missed by so many!
Prayers and condolences for the family.
I´ll see you again ol friend when we can see the savior and King! What a day that will be!
