Judge William "Wild Bill" Hatten obituary

William Hatten Memoriam

Judge William "Wild Bill" Hatten
08/26/1913 - 06/16/2011
Some people come into our lives and gently fade away. Others, such as you, stay a while and encourage us by example to follow our dreams and to become better individuals. Pam, Robin, Brian, Mike, and James, thank you for helping us all to be better people, attorneys, and judges, because you helped awaken us to new understandings. As such, your footprints on our hearts will never fade away. We still hear, but miss, your laughter, your charm, your wit, your judicial compassion to help others, your advice and most of all your wisdom. May the angels sing a special birthday hymn for you today!

Judge Hatten was a dear friend of my dad, Jerry Finger, and he served on the board of Charter Bank for many years. I knew Judge Hatten for many years as well. He was a great public servant through his service to our our courts. May his family find peace.

Happy Birthday, Judge Hatten. I'll always remember your smile and laughter. Your hair was really cool also, lucky man. I always respected you and considered our families All Saints warriors. May you continue to rest in peace, but, dancing in heaven is acceptable. Please give Mrs. Hatten, the best volleyball coach ever, a hug from me, and while you're at it give one to my Mom & Dad also.
Peace.
