Stella Franklin, 88, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at Greeneville Community Hospital.
She worked at George C. Moore and Meco Corporation
She loved her kitty cats and her little dog, Rowdy. She also loved her flowers.
She survived by her children: Cathy Franklin (Connie Reed), Sandra Franklin, Anita (Ronnie) Lintz, Hurshell Franklin, and David (Angie) Franklin; her grandchildren: Anthony (Betsey) Sauceman, April Holt (Dwayne Click) of Newport, Kim Peters, John (Mandy) Morris, and Katrina Franklin (Craig Malone); great-grandchildren: Jasmine Holt, Brent Peters, Gage Click, Kinslee Sauceman, Tucker and Mikah Sauceman, and Jacob, Sammy and Issac Morris; a sister-in-law: Anna Lee Blankinship; and several nieces and nephews.
The family expresses a special thank you to Greeneville Community Hospital nurses on 4-East for their care of Mrs. Franklin.
She was preceded by her husband: L.C. Franklin Jr.; her parents: Hurshell and Celia Mae Ricker; granddaughters: Melissa Sauceman and Kimberly Franklin; and 11 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.
The funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Jeffers Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
