Fresno, California - James Clarence Bopp was born March 26th, 1940 in Fresno CA., and passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2024 in Fresno, CA.
A skilled craftsman, Jim grew up on a Biola raisin farm near the San Joaquin River. After graduating Central High in 1958, He began a long and successful career as a sheet metal worker, and along with his brother Bill, was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 104.
Jim retired in 1995, and in 1998, moved back to the banks of the San Joaquin River where he happily lived in Wildwood until his passing.
Jim is survived by his loving daughters Jamie Hodoian and Shelli Lindahl, and their husbands Larry and Linden, grandson Joshua Lindahl, sister Carol Fichera as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing for Jim will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28th at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel.
Services for Jim Bopp will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29th at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
