Cathleen Craycroft-Glenn

September 12, 1947 - November 13, 2024

Fresno, California - Cathy was born in Fresno on 9/12/1947 to parents Vida and Lyle Glenn. She attended Roosevelt High School and became a foreign exchange student, living in The Netherlands, where she excelled in several languages. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Theatre Arts, Cathy returned to Fresno and became involved with theater and set design at Fresno State College, as it was then known. It was here that she met many talented students and individuals involved in theater production and the performing arts. Cathy was a member of the original Good Company Players, which performed and produced numerous musicals in Fresno, and where she demonstrated her skills at set and costume designs, as well as performing. Her creativity served her well, as she later became a talented artist. The English Cottage paintings, still life floral designs, and Victorian house pen and ink drawings are appreciated still today.

Cathy married Gary J. Craycroft in 1993 and together they enjoyed their many cats, and entertaining friends and family at home. Both Cathy and Gary, being deeply concerned with animal welfare, contributed to many animal charitable organizations.

Cathy passed away at home on 11/13/2024. She will be missed.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Vida and Lyle Glenn.

Cathy is survived by husband Gary, and brother, Mark Glenn. Also surviving her are step-children Callie Craycroft Biggar, Bradley Craycroft, Jared Craycroft, and nephews Daniel Glenn and David Glenn.

A 10:00 Burial will take place on November 29, 2024 at Belmont Memorial Park. Chapel of The Light will host a Memorial and Reception at 11:30 on the same date.
