Leroy would always lend a helping hand when it came to working on a vehicle. I remember the Black Chevy Chevelle he treasured from back in the day. He will truly be missed.

Mr. Samuels I will miss seeing you at the lab. From the first time I met you 18 years ago, you displayed Faith, and the Courage to Live through your sickness. As time passed, you asked me about my "kin folk" and I learned that you and my cousin Cecilia Deyo Fox were classmates. I remember calling her and asking her about you. The last time I saw you, you told me about your condition progressing. We laughed and joked (per usual) but not knowing that it was the last time makes me sad. Thank you for years of fun and laughter Mr. Samuels. Take your well deserved rest.

Prayers are being sent for the family of Leroy Samuels... a lifelong classmate of mine from our entry of 1st grade at File Elementary School throughout the completion of our 12th grade commencement at Union High School. As well, rememberances are kept of our childhood baptisms and our ongoing attendance at our home church in Sparta, VA. May his family, friends, and associates keep the precious memories of this "gentle" man, "Leroy" within their heart!!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Leroy and I were classmates for 12 years. We started out together at File Elementary and went all the way through Union High together. Asking God to wrap His loving arms around you and keep you in His care.
