Lyl Clinard Obituary
Lyl MacLean Clinard died peacefully on August 11, 2024. Her family was by her side as she went to walk with the Lord.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 16, at First Presbyterian Church in High Point, NC. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center at the church.

I worked with Lyl in the office of Secretary of State, Thad Eure.
She was the receptionist, and I served as the private secretary to Mr. Eure.
She was a most engaging, welcoming, and enthusiastic individual to everyone.
She loved her husband, Aaron, children, and grandchildren.
I shall never forget her donating books from her grandfather´s personal collection to support the NC State Capitol Foundation. The funds were used to preserve history, educate children, and restore the historic building.
Lyl was a "special" person, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rest in peace.
