Peggy Preston Hager Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Peggy Ann Hager (Preston), 67 years old, of Dunnellon, Florida. Peggy passed away Thursday, December 22, 2023 with her daughter and son by her side.
She was born on July 17, 1956 in Paintsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late James R. Preston and Marda Kirk Preston, former owners of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.. She was happily married to her high school sweetheart, Price M. Hager Jr, from 1975 until his passing in 2019.
She was a former business owner with her husband Price, in both Kentucky and Florida. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a peaceful nature and soothing spirit. Peggy was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Casey [Charles] Dugan and son, Daniel Preston Hager; grandchildren, Cassidy Ann Dugan and Clarissa Mae Dugan; brother James Andrew Preston. Peggy was beloved to all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 12, 2024 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to attend and celebrate Peggy's life with memorable events and special occasions honoring her.
