Jane McGoldrick Obituary

Jane Walker McGoldrick, 107, was born June 28, 1918 and passed away peacefully in her sleep January 18, 2026. Jane was a life-long Memphian. She was the daughter of Grover L. Walker, Sr. and Irene Glancy Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. McGoldrick, Jr, son, Arthur R. McGoldrick, III, brothers, John P. Walker and Grover L. Walker, Jr., and sister, Mary Margaret Walker. She leaves a daughter, Paula Sue McGoldrick, along with her beloved nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and several great-greats.

Jane was a graduate of Memphis Tech High School and Miss Wiley's School of Business. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Laurelwood Business and Professional Women. She worked most of her career at L. T. Barringer Cotton Company, and retired at age 93 from Mike Mathews Pool and Spa.

She was a member of Mullins Methodist Church for 60 years. Jane loved her friends and especially her family. The family would like to thank the loving and dedicated staff at Kings Daughters and Sons Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at Mullins United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. with burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. before the service.
