Chick was an amazing, caring coach for my son in HPBFA. (Telling me he was one of his best nose guards ever didn't hurt! :-) ) I just loved the way he related to those boys. We lost touch over the years-then got back in touch at the Streamwood golf course. I was blessed to see him on Sunday mornings and play in a couple of golf outings that he was in. He was SO proud of his family and I just loved being around him. He will definitely be missed in so many ways. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

So sad to hear this news. Hanover Park has lost one of it´s four fathers in the sports community. He instilled respect and honor amongst all this players. He taught valuable skills Athletically, physically and mentally. he will be missed by all of the people he touched throughout his years in the community. Paul considered Chick to be his encyclopedia Of youth sports. Thank you Chick for all the memories

I am deeply saddened to hear the loss of a true family man. As a lifelong friend to Mike Graffy and the entire Graffy family, I've know him as Mr. Graffy or Sir first, but upon his preference, "Chick"; but I was most comfortable and joyous calling him Coach! I was always welcome in their home without nary a knock on the door, Chick and Betty were my second set of parents a few doors down. Childhood friends kept for life are family. The memories are vivid and joyful. I hear you, I see you, I remember you! Thanks! Thanks for the memories! Rest in peace.

A man of great dedication to youth foot ball. Values and sportsmanship taught to our 3 sons. Now our sons all grown up with kids of their own who instill the same values as Chick did. Rest In Peace.
