Joel had just left my cabin on my bike , he was uncle Joel to me I met him when I went to speak and tell my life story at the granit house in derry new Hampshire, he was a great man and always had great advice we would talk for hours and try to figure out what was going to work best to keep ourselves clean and sober! He always told me I inspired him to do better yet I was inspired by him and his honesty to do better in my own life! I will for ever remember us sitting at White's Park in concord looking over the pond laugh at the messes we made of our lives because for that moment we were sober and we were free of the chaos our addictions brought us, now he's finally free of the pain and torment that he fought day and night ! Rest peacefully my friend until we meet again I'll miss you " uncle joal" and I love you brother!
