Gary A. Brown

Concord, NH - Gary Allen Brown, age 76, passed away on November 29, 2025. in Concord, NH. Gary was born on August 16, 1949 in Anderson, IN to Jack Brown and Vianna Hensley Brown.

During his younger years while his father was in the Air Force, he saw a lot of the country including living in IN, RI, NH, NY, OH, NC and Hawaii.

He graduated from Peru NY High School in 1968. While attending HS and after graduating he worked at a TV station, a Marina, and on a Sheriff's water rescue team.

Gary went in the Navy for 3 years on a destroyer doing ship maintenance including welding. After that he worked in many shops doing welding and sheet metal fabrication, the last one being Pitco in Bow, NH.

He also graduated from NH Technical Institute in 1977 with an Associates in Business.

Gary's favorite things to do were snow skiing, water skiing, candlepin bowling, scuba diving, tinkering with old cars, riding his Harley as often as he could and being on the lake in his boat.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Janet Marie Brown of 30 years, his son Christopher Jordan Brown (Michelle) and a grandson, Sean Parker Brown of Wendell, NC. His sister Jacqueline Lewis of No Augusta, SC.

He was also blessed with another family. He leaves behind David John Gannon (Kathryn), and a grandson, Andrew David Gannon of San Diego, CA.

A brief committal service with Military Honors will be held Monday, December 8th at 2 o'clock in the chapel at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy.
