Thank you for the love and strength you have provided for so many but most of your adoring niece Eve. As her friend I have been blessed to witness the unconditional love and respect between you both. You are and always will be the best Uncle Bill there is. Rest in Peace knowing that your leagecy and love will live on in those you love.
May peace rest in the hearts of those lucky enough to know and love Uncle Bill.

Bonnie; Bill and you have been very good neighbors. I miss the sailing talks with Bill. I felt as neighbors, You and Bill shared a special love for Lake Michigan and Eastlake Terrace with my family. Daughter Sara and I always felt Bill should have found the cannon ball on Rogers Avenuue Beach, which she did find and Bill always asked her about. Sara always enjoyed his intense interest in it and was always going to give it to him. I think she enjoyed his interest in it so much she didn't want his interest to stop so kept it as bait for further discussions. Who knows...we have missed him. Hope to see about soon. Jane

Bonnie you know that Bill was a family friend, (attended our 20th and 40th Anniversary) who always asked after our daughter, Diane. As a Past Commodore, racing sailor, and historian of nautical Chicago, we considered him “Capt. Corinthian”.

Bonnie; Bill was a wonderful guide for me during my year as Commodore of the CYA . Bill ran the inter club frost bite sailing and was in charge of the Maritime Museum. Bill was always the extra hand that was around. He will be missed by every Yacht Club on Lake Michigan.
