Violet Lucille Marriner, nee Fellows, age 83, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at St. Rose deLima Hospital, Henderson, NV. Violet was born in Chicago, IL in 1923. Daughter of the late Robert and the late Isabel Fellows. She attended Waller High School (now known as Lincoln Park High School). She married Charles VanDerBie Marriner in 1941 and they raised their family in Lisle, IL. Violet eventually moved to Henderson, NV in 1991 where she lived until her death. Violet was a sketching aficionado, a fan of opera and loved fishing in the Colorado River in the mountain of Southern Nevada. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Marriner; her sister, Marian Fellows; her grand-daughter, Teri Marriner and great-granddaughter, Shantae Tang. She is survived by her eight children: Marian (Gary) Lenington, Bob (Nancy) Marriner, Tim Marriner, Tom (Jill) Marriner, Rita (Ernie) Arriaga, Toni (Scott) Schwake, Mary (Ken) Osowski and John Marriner. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation and Services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2007 in the interment chapel of Mount Olive Cemetery, 3800 N.
