Jean R. Brauweiler, 97 of Arlington Hts. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Hussey) Brauweiler; loving father of Michael (Dorothy) Brauweiler, Mary Beth (Ron) Rutkowski, Martin (Karen) Brauweiler, James (Patti Marston) Brauweiler, John Brauweiler, Margaret (Timothy) Jacobs, Claire (Timothy) Ziffer, David (Nora) Brauweiler; Monica (Peter) Lind and the late Mark Brauweiler; cherished grandfather of 24 and great grandfather of 11; fond brother of Carl (late Virginia) Brauweiler. Jean served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. Visitation from 3 - 8 PM Sunday December 5, 2021, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Hts Rd. Arlington Hts. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday December 6, 2021 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Hts Rd., Arlington Hts for Mass at 10:00 AM. Sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Worked with him at Kraft Foods years ago. Smart man, great coworker. His Catholic faith was deep. Rest in Peace Jean.

Marjorie, I am so very sorry to learn of your father's passing. It's been decades, but I remember your Dad & Mom from various St. James events. They were always very warm and very kind. So sorry for your loss, a thought that has helped me, many of us have experienced loss of a loved one, noted in Gods word that gives us a positive hope for the future in Jeremiah 29:11. We can all look forward to this time.
