Franklin V. Narbert, 80, sadly has passed away on January 4, 2022. Franklin is survived by his loving spouse of 52 years, Marlene (nee Koniszewski) Narbert. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Diane (Jamie) Hahn; sons William (Lisa) Narbert, Robert (Jennifer) Narbert, and Bryan (Julie) Narbert; Proud grandfather of Zachary, Matthew, Isabella, and Gemma. Franklin was born to William 'Bud' and Viola (nee Franklin) Narbert on June 7, 1941, in Chicago Illinois. He was an only child who grew up on the Northside of Chicago where he was beloved by many of the neighborhood children, as he had all the best toys growing up! He graduated from Lane Technical HS in 1959 and then attended Chicago Institute of Technology. Living in Chicago for 60 years, he went on to have a successful career as a mechanical engineer with various patents under his name. Upon retirement they moved to Tennessee, where he became an avid member of the South Roane County Volunteer Fire Department for almost two decades, while continuing his pursuit of bowling a perfect game, until he physically was unable. They recently moved to Wisconsin to be closer to his family and friends. In lieu of donations to the family, please send donations to Oak Grove Methodist Church, c/o Lori Templeton, 161 Moss Boat Dock Lane, Decatur, TN 37322. A family memorial will be held in Spring. For those who knew him, he had an imposing presence with a meticulous nature. Franklin you will be missed.
