Wm. Northcut Obituary

Northcut, Ph.D., Wm. Dana of Evanston, IL, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007, following a six-month battle with melanoma cancer. Dr. Northcut was an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and was a Principal with Chicago Partners, LLC of Chicago, IL. He is survived by two children, Blythe Marie Northcut and Samuel Harrison Northcut and their mother, Dr. Terry Brumley Northcut, all of Evanston. Dana is also survived by his parents, Rev. Andrew Jackson Northcut and Billie Marie Franks Northcut of Waverly, TN and following siblings: Janice Northcut Elliott (deceased), Charles David Northcut (Marla) of Germantown, TN, Joseph Franklin Northcut (Nan) of Wake Forest, NC, Timothy Jackson Northcut (Jenny) of Mason, OH, Thomas Steven Northcut (deceased), Lizabeth Jonette Northcut Crowell (Mike) of Waverly, TN, Kenneth Edmond Northcut (Lisa) of Jackson, TN; brother-in-law, Garry Dean Elliott of McEwen, TN and many nieces and nephews. The family will be forever grateful for Dana's fully devoted friend and caregiver, Michelle Brewer of Evanston who stood by his side to the end. A Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Lake Street Church of Evanston, 607 Lake Street, Evanston, IL. Dana has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lake Street Church of Evanston Memorial Garden Fund or to a charity of your choice. Terry and family,
I am so sorry to here about the loss of Dana. I haven't seen you guys since Union but Dana's brother Ken is actually a coach at my daughter's school. You all will certainly be in our prayers.
