Steinbrecher, Wilson W. Age 90 of Naperville, IL, formerly of Riverside, IL at rest Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home. Born October 11, 1922 in Chicago, IL the son of the late William and Esther Steinbrecher. Beloved husband of Rosemarie for 68 years; loving father of the late Thomas W. (Sandra) Steinbrecher, Ted C. (Marilyn) Steinbrecher and Mark W. (Judith) Steinbrecher; cherished Papa of Sarah (Jack) Bowyer, Jessica, Gelsey, Hannah, Andrew, Mark, Aaron and Otto Steinbrecher; dear great-grandfather of Isabelle Bowyer; fond brother of the late William (Marilyn) Steinbrecher; and brother-in-law of Charlotte Bedi. Wilson attended the University of South Carolina, served in the US Army/Air Corp as a 2nd Lieutenant, during WWII, was awarded his wings and flew a C-47, dropping supplies, paratroopers and picking up wounded and displaced persons in the European Theatre. Wilson and his father owned and operated Steinbrecher Recreation in Chicago, IL. He retired from State Farm Insurance and was a member of the Naperville V.F.W. Judd-Kendall Post # 3873. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Scleroderma Foundation, scleroderma.org or Ascension Lutheran Church, 400 Nuttall Road, Riverside, IL 60546. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 400 Nuttall Road, Riverside, IL 60546. Private family inurnment at a later date. Rosemarie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I will do my very best to be there on Sunday. Forgive me if I cannot make it. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that you both were so much in love and had many wonderful memories. You will miss him. I know that for sure. God love and hold you during this time. Wilson was the dearest man. Fred and I enjoyed weeks, months traveling with Willie and Rosemaria. The fun we had.leaves me with memories that hopefully will last my lifetime. He was so loving, caring and sensitive! He was so very special and I will miss him. My sympathy.to the entire family! Love, Ina Wolf, Michelle, Debra, Scott , Arlene and children
