William Wilken Obituary

Wilken, William "Bill" R. age 70, of Calumet City, IL, passed away Sunday, in St. Margaret-North, Hammond, IN. He is survived by his wife, Betty, one daughter, Dawn (Jim) Mack, three grandchildren, Rachele, Billy and Little Dawn, one sister, Shirley Eilenfeldt, one brother, Eugene Wilken, nephew, Brian Sissel, many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charlotte Sissel. Born in Denahm, IN, he was the son of the late Rudolph and the late Elizabeth Evans Wilken. He lived on the EastSide of Chicago until 1963 when he and Betty were married. Mr. Wilken was a member of Teamsters 142 & 705. He retired in 1998 from Bulkmatic in Hammond, IN. Funeral will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m., from the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond. Friends may call Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 9 p.m., at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohmann Ave., Hammond, IN.
