We send our sympathy to the family and to our son Vernon Umgelder(Butch), and his wife(Beth) especially. We both know our grand children Timmy and Tristian will miss him to. Vernon would know as when he lost both his grand parents on the Umgelder side and he lost his grandmother on his mothers side 3 years ago. Our love and sympathies go to all.

BILL WAS VERY MUCH A PART OF OUR LIVES FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS. HE WAS KIND AND CARING AND HE LOVED A GOOD LAUGH. WE ENJOYED HIS COMPANY AT FAMILY GATHERINGS AND HE WAS THE CLOSEST THING TO A GRANDFATHER THAT OUR SON HAD EVER KNOWN. HE WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP, AND RARELY HAD TO BE ASKED. HE WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO PUT OTHER PEOPLE AHEAD OF HIMSELF WHERE IT COUNTED MOST... A REAL GENTLEMAN.
WE WILL ALL MISS HIM, BUT WE KNOW THAT THE GLORIES HE NOW BEHOLDS IN HEAVEN FAR OUTWEIGH ANY JOY OR HAPPINESS HE KNEW ON EARTH. HE WILL RING IN THE NEW YEAR IN GRAND STYLE WITH THE ANGELS!
WE EXTEND OUR HEARTFELT SYMPATHIES TO HIS CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. MAY YOU FIND STRENGTH AND COMFORT IN THE DIFFICULT DAYS AHEAD. WE LOVED BILL.
