One day many years ago, I announced to my father that Uncle Bill was the nicest man on the face of the earth. It was immediately apparent to me that Dad already knew this fact yet was pleased that I had reached this conclusion myself. Dad's response was "Susan, you are very perceptive."
I was proud to say that I was his godchild, his first of many, to the best of my knowledge.
That Uncle Bill is no longer on this earth is a huge loss for his kids, grandkids and countless friends, including all the favorite neices and nephews.
Together again for the first time in nearly 60 years, I'm guessing there is a very special "Neylon picnic" taking place in heaven.
I will never forget the overwhelming kindness of my dear Uncle Bill.

To the Neylon Family:
I had the pleasure of being a basketball teammate of Bill at De La Salle. It was always such a joy to see him through the years. When I think of Bill I think of class--he was a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
