Nardini PhD, Dr. William 78, Emeriti Professor, passed away January 26, Korean War Veteran U.S. Army, Purple Heart recipient, beloved husband of Mary Lois, dear father of William Jr., Tamie, Tony and Maria Nardini, Dave Westermeier, Lynn Williams, Jane (Klaus-Dieter) Wurm, cherished grandfather of Matthew and Jacob Nardini and Nicholas and Annika Wurm, dear brother of Robert (Betty), James (late Jean), Richard (Mabel), Eugene (Donna), Tom (Gracie Bowlan), Jeanette (Ollie)_ Hoss, Ronald (Barbara), Charles (Patricia), late Daniel (late Kay), late Ray (Barbara), late William and late Violet (late Don) MacKenzie, uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. Dr. Nardini established the Department of Criminology at Indiana State University. The Department is ranked one of the best in the United States. Visitation Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m. until time of services 3 p.m. at Debaun Funeral Home, 85 E. Springhill Dr., Terre Haute, IN 47802, also American Legion Post 346 conducting service. Memorial gifts may be made to the Oregon Baptist Church Building Fund, 11200 S. Carlisle St., Terre Haute, IN. 47802 or to the William Nardini Memorial Scholarship in Criminology and Criminal Justice at ISU through the Foundation Office, Terre Haute, IN 47804
