William H. Minnick, Jr. (Bill), age 81, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Waukegan, IL, died on April 2, 2023. Visitation and Funeral Mass both take place on Saturday, April 15 at St. Dismas Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish), 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085. Visitation begins at 1:30 pm. Funeral Mass begins at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of William H. Minnick, Jr. to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. www.GurneeSalata.com

As 2 of the original neighbors at our Condo and being President for a long time, I was fortunate to have known Bill for decades . Bill was always ready to 'sign up' for our Association duties and any assistance needed. I have many memories of Bill, but probably my favorite is how every Christmas Season he would set up & display his working and musical train collection in our Lobby, creating many very Merry Seasons for All!!! Memories of Bill will always be in many hearts. You have my deepest condolences for the loss of such a special man.

Bill trained me to be his Condo Assoc. successor as Treasurer. He was always available to help and great to work with. He then became a friend and will be missed.
