McCormick, William G. 49, of Steger, IL, passed away, December 5th, in Olympia Fields, IL, beloved husband of Bonnie McCormick (nee Zych), dear father of Jennifer and Don Kreis and Melissa McCormick, loving grandfather of Kylie Kreis, beloved son of Edward and Margaret McCormick Sr., dearest brother of Joyce and David Ludwa, Margaret and Michael Piunti, Kathy and Tim Hannon, Barbara and Paul Somerville, Patty and Dave Bonadona, Edward R. and Gayle McCormick Jr., Michael and Suzan McCormick and Bob and Laura McCormick, dear uncle of 18 nieces and nephews and one great-niece, loving son-in-law of Joseph and Mafalda Zych Sr., dear nephew of Jack and Janiene McCormick, Jerry and Kay McCormick and Evelyn McCormick. Funeral Mass is Monday, December 10, 2001, at St. Liborius Church (35th and Halsted Blvd., Steger, IL), at 10 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Visitation Saturday, December 8, from 4 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 9th, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. Mr. McCormick was a broker/owner of ReMax 2000 in Crete, IL, also very active as a former girl's softball coach in Steger, former member of Steger Kiwanis Club, Past Senator of the Chicago Heights Jaycees, Board member of the Miller Woods Fire Protection District, member of the Bloom High School Foundation Board and former Coach for the University Park Pony League and the immediate past School Board President for Bloom & Bloom Trail High Schools District 206.
