Dear Kevin and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about your father. I have so many good memories of your dad. I remember as kids, he would lets us play in his police cars and fix our bikes when they broke and set us straight when we did a few things weren't supposed to. I vividly recall the times he took us flying, those flights as a 10 year old are what eventually motivated me to become a pilot. He was a very good person, father, and police officer who touched many lives. He will be dearly missed.

Sincerly,

Tom and Therese Oates

Dear Family,

I had the pleasure of knowing Lt. Mahoney when I worked for James Riordan when he was Chief of Patrol and Lt. Mahoney was assigned to Vice. I remember him best walking through the door on the 6th floor of 11th and State to go to lunch with Chief Riordan. He was always a gentleman, considerate and always had a smile. My sympathies are with you and he is in my prayers.
