William Love Obituary
Love, William Anthony 36, was born on August 6th, 1969, in Chicago, IL and recently resided in Delton, MI, passed away on May 14, 2006. Beloved son of Joseph and Delores, loving brother to Tammy (Arthur) Vanick, Kim Dykes, Joseph Jr. (Susan) Love and Michael (Jamie) Love, dear grandson of Anna and the late Joseph Love and the late Anton and Anna Bagzis, proud uncle of seven nieces and two nephews, other relatives and friends survive. Will be missed by his best buddy Dodger. William proudly served in the US Army Airborne Riggers where he felt his most rewarding accomplishment was earning his wings. During Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, he was recognized for his heroism earning a Bronze Star. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m., from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to Queen of Martyrs Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Visitation Thursday, 3 until 9 p.m. Info: 708-636-1193.

My sincere sympathies go to Billy’s family and friends. Billy was “One of a kind”. I have very fond memories of my time with him. If you had Billy as a friend, you always knew you had someone you could count on, regardless of the situation.

Billy and I became friends a long time ago, he was the kind that would always listen if you had a problem you wanted to get off your chest. He had a huge heart in many ways. It has been at least 10 years since I had seen him last, but I thought about him frequently...
He is definitely missed. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

I will never forget the good times we had on the Fourth of July parties, fishing for Coho and Smelt on Lake Michigan. I'm proud of you for the time and service that you provided for our country. You will be deeply missed!!! My thoughts and prayers are with the Love family. God Bless!!!!

I FIRST MET BILLY IN HIGHSCHOOL AND WE BECAME CLOSE FRIENDS HE HELPED ME THROUGH ALOT OF THING IN MY LIFE, WE WENT TO JUNIOR PROM TOGEATHER. AND AFTER HIGH SCHOOL WE WENT OUR SEPERATE WAYS FOR A WHILE THEN WE RAN INTO EACH OTHER ON ARCHER AVE, HE WAS GETTING SOMETHING DONE TO HIS CAR RADIO THEN WE STARTED DATING AND ON APRIL FOOLS DAY HE ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM AND I SAID YES.BILL HELPED ME RAISE MY SON AND MY NEICE ,NOT MANY MEN WOULD DO THAT, WE STAYED MARRIED ONLY A SHORT TIME BUT STILL WERE ALWAYS FRIENDS AND I WILL MISS HIM WITH ALL MY HEART AND AM SO PROUD OF HIM ON HOW HE SERVED OUR COUNTRY I LOVE YOU NOW AND ALWAYS BILLY, BE SAFE
