Bill Jr, Steve, Marty, and Nancy,
I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and to Bill's extended family at Certified. I was shocked to hear of his quick decline and passing. I mourn with you all at the passing of such a man as he.
I have always enjoyed my visits to Certified, not only because Bill Sr was a kind of kindred spirit, together lapsing into remembering adventures with our children in far away places, and not only because Bill was so much a personable spirit, but also because his life and attitude toward life was evidenced in those who worked with him, both in the office and in the warehouse. Bill no doubt leaves a legacy of kindness, of caring, of honest work and business with others to all those who had the real pleasure of knowing him and working with him. I will miss him, yet I expect to hear him in those with whom I work at Certified, and I fully expect I will see him when I join him some day, as is the promise of our faith in Christ.

To the Lang family

We were all heartbroken when we learned of Bill's passing. He was a great guy, and we were all very lucky to have known him and Ellen for so many years. The friendship they shared with my Mom and Dad was special, and was a great example of what's really important in life. For that, we all say "thank you."

All our love and prayers,

Bill, Susan, Billy & Lauren

Marty, Billy, Steven and Nancy, We send our condolensces on your Dad's passing. He was a very special man and though we only saw him once every few years, he always left us with a feeling of warmth and friendship. Our memories of him and your whole family go back many, many years, but they are nonetheless fond and wonderful. May God bless and watch over all of you. May you find comfort in knowing that he is now with your mom and Allison.

Much love, Cathy (Cowell) & Joe Makoid

My condolences to the entire Lang family on the passing of Bill.

Bill was a very caring and compassionate man, who had many friends. He was a former Board Member and President of the Chicago Bolt, Nut and Screw Association, but most of all he was a big supporter and participant of the association over all the years as were his employees.

Bill will be missed dearly and his passing has left a void that will be hard to fill.
