Dad, I am so grateful for having the time to tell you all these things before you left us for the heavens. Thank you for always being there for me these past few years when I needed you most. When my furnace quit in the middle of winter you were there, when my car wouldn't start off we were to Sears for a new battery, when my deck and breezeway were full of leaves you always found the broom, and you took care of my boat like it was your own. Even though we fought every time about covering it when a storm was rolling in at the lake, you went out and made sure not an inch of rain would get in! Our times at the cabin are so very special to me and I consider myself privileged to be able to call such a place "HOME" because as soon as I get out of that car after an 8 hour ride thats the first thing I say to myself. "AHH IM HOME". It was always much more fun,and crazy and busy and fullfilling when we came up when you and mom were there. You taught me how to fish, stoke a fire, dig for worms, rake, drive a boat,be the anchor girl, and swat the flies. The memories I have up there are the best ones of my life as a little girl and a big girl. Its in our little cabin in the woods and on Lake Namakagon that I felt closest to you. I miss you already but when I catch that 10 lb walleye, bowl a 300 or get a hole in one I will definitely dedicate them all to you DAD. Watch over us please, we need it!!!!!
