I had the honor of working with Bill at McCall's magazine. He was a kind and gentle person and always willing to listen. A great mentor. He will truly be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I am the great nephew of Ruth Greer, the lady that hired Bill at McCall's magazine. Bill was like an Uncle to me and my family. Bill had dinner at Ruthie's house every night. Bill was the most wonderful and giving person anyone could know We Love You, Bill May God Love You

The Kemper Kids (Mary, Liz, Danny, Peggy and Kathy) fondly remember our "Uncle Billy." He was a dear friend to our great-aunt, Ruth Greer, who also worked at McCall's. He attended many of our family picnics and Christmas celebrations in Chicago and was one of the family. As we grew up and had our own families, he was always delighted when we would stop in to visit. He loved to entertain the kids with magic tricks. Thank you, Billy, for so many wonderful childhood memories. Mary Kemper Kjeldsen (Apple Valley, MN.)

My condolences to the family of William Hoenigman.I restored a painting by 19th century Chicago artist Christian A. Hoenigman, and wonder whether there might be a family relation.
