Hassett, William C. Navy Vet of WWII. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Halpin), loving father of William (Cynthia) Hassett, Mary Galazkiewicz and Phillip (Diahn) Hassett, proud grandfather of Elizabeth, Kyle, Maureen, Jakalynne, Colin and Santino, loving brother of James (the late Helen) Hassett, Lauretta (the late Chester) Sternik and the late Henderson and Hassett families, kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 8:45 a.m., from the Robert J. Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home, 4950 West 79th Street, Burbank, to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Member of Amvets and American Legion, Holy Name Society of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Retired after 32 years of service with Peoples Gas Company. I attended the wake, funeral Mass and cemetery services and am positive everything was just as Uncle Bill would have wanted and more!! His family really did a wonderful job remembering him and all the highlights of his life.
I will miss him very much as he was a great uncle who really listened to what you had to say...
Till we meet again I will hold you in my memory as long as that lasts?? GOD BLESS YOU UNCLE BILL WHEREVER YOU ARE!

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. He was a great man, and always fun to be around. He will be greatly missed.
