Harold Roach was a wonderful Brother in Christ who I admired greatly. He will be very missed in the Mississippi Gideons. I had the honor of becoming the Gideon State Chaplain when Harold stepped down, thus I got to know him well during the transition period. He was full of wit, humor, warmth, and love for our Lord and Savior as he demonstrated Matthew 5:16! We will miss you Brother Harold!

Prayers for the family Harold leaves behind. I will remember he always had an encouraging word for me. He will be missed by our local family of the Gideons.

It was always a joy serving with Harold during the Gideon work in Mississippi. He served with great zeal for our Lord Jesus, and he was so humble in his labor. We are so sorry for his loss, and our prayers are with each family member during this sad time. However, we look forward to the reunion with him in heaven.

We know that Harold is celebrating with great joy being with Jesus. He celebrated life with us here -- now eternally there. Thank you, Lord, for allowing us the privilege of knowing, loving, and serving with Harold in his beloved Ministry of The Gideons International.

Harold was a great, loving Christian gentleman. He and Jan were good friends through the Gideons. They were gracious leaders and a big help to us in the Starkville Camp at times. It was a privilege for me to serve on the state cabinet at a time when he and Jan were active. We miss them. Blessings for all the family as you grieve your earthly loss, Vic and Jane Zitta
