I am sorry I could not make it to the wake or funeral. I have many fond childhood memories of Uncle Bill. The best part were always his jokes. He always had a good one to tell. Say hi to Grandma & Grandpa and my dad up there! Love always, Nick

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Everytime that I saw him, he was always smiling, full of jokes and always right there to tease me (in a fun way). He reminded me a lot like my father - I really enjoyed being around him. I am so glad that we spent some time with him a week and half ago because those will be more treasured memories of a great man. We will miss you Bill. We know you are in a better place and we will meet up with you again someday. Love, The Lawson's (Vanessa & Jeff (Jacob, Alec, Noah & Abigail))
