William Dunne Obituary
Dunne, William 'Bill', age 79, son of late Peter Dunne and Ellen Dowd Dunne. Husband of late Maria P. 'Provi' Dunne. Father of Joe (Crystal) Dunne and Irene (Tom) Garrett. Grandfather to Miranda, Megan, Alyssa, Sean, and Joey. Brother to Mary (Liam) Abbott, Kathleen, Julie-Ann (John) Linzer and Tom Dunne. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bill was born in Glinsk, Co. Galway, Ireland. In 1960 the Dunne family immigrated to Chicago and in 1964 Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Thirty years later Master Chief Dunne retired to Pensacola-Milton, Florida. Bill was always a proud Irish American who treated strangers as friends he never met. He was much loved and will be missed by many. Express your thoughts and condolences at [email protected].
