Driscoll, William P. age 85, late of the East Side, beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Ashenbrener), dear brother of Evelyn (Salvatore) Vella, loving brother-in-law of Elsie (late John) Thomas and the late Rudy (late Corrine) Ashenbrener, also survived by caring nieces and nephews. Veteran of US Army. Retired employee of US Steel, Southworks. Past President of Sacred Heart Church Holy Name Society & Bingo Chairperson. Longtime dedicated parishioner of Sacred Heart Church serving on numerous committees & organizations. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services Friday, September 28, 2007, at 8:45 a.m., from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, to Sacred Heart Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Please omit flowers. 773-731-2749.
