Just found this...so sorry for the delay.
I think of the Degnans and our great memories. We`d love to hear from Pat & Tom.
The last ALumnae was ended last year. (at last)missed seeing you there.

I just read about your dad's death in the Alvernia newsletter. I'm sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of growing up with your family at both St. Matthias and Alvernia. My parents always thought so highly of your dad and really enjoyed his friendship. What an amazing life he led!!

Dear Degnan Family -
I am sorry for your loss - one of the nicest things I remember about Uncle Bill was when my dad died, he came over to the house after the funeral and over some beers talked about the good memories he had of Butch. I wish I could have been there to do the same for Uncle Bill - he was a great guy and touched my life and I am better for him.

We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill's death. He was one of the best uncles ever. I remember so many times talking and laughing with him. Although there were so many of you, he always had time to talk and joke with one more child.

I read the news about your father’s passing today, and wanted to extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. We obviously didn’t know your father, but reading about him, we are sure that he had a wonderful life. He was a war veteran with a large family (children, grandchildren & great grandchildren) to give him joy and pass on his legacy through the generations. No one can ask for more.

Dear Friends and Family,
I just read about the recent loss of your loved one. I am deeply concerned about the sorrow and distress you must be experiencing. However, I have some good news to share with you regarding your loss.
Did you know that the Bible promises us that we will have the oppurtunity to see our dead loved ones again? Please read in your copy of the Bible the scripture recorded at John 5:28,29. There we are assured that everyone in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out. That is come out as one resurrected to life again by God! Yes, the wonderful promise of a resurrection is held out to all of those who have fallen asleep in death. (Acts 24:15)
In addition, Almighty God, has promised obedient mankind at Rev. 21:1-5 that very soon pain, sickness, poverty, crime, war, and yes even death, will be no more. Why? Because according to the scripture at 1 John 4:8-"God is love."
