William Chukwu Obituary

Chukwu, M.D., Ph.D., William W.B. age 66 of Oak Park, IL, beloved husband of Helen Osunde Chukwu, loving father of Nwabueze (Nneka), Helen, Neville Wusaobi, Conrad, Walter, Christiana and Princess, cherished grandfather of Chukwuemeka and Chinedu, loving son of the late Mazi Wilfred Chukwu and the late Madam Grace Chukwu, dear brother of Regina Okeke and Michael and the late Cecilia Obioha, Gilbert, Christie Ohanehi and Kate Echegiri, fond uncle of many. Dr. Chukwu practiced medicine in the Chicago area for over 25 years most recently at Michael Reese Hospital, Loretto Hospital, Jackson Park Hospital, Roseland Community Hospital and West Suburban Hospital. Visitation Friday, April 3rd, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Visitation Saturday, April 4th, 2009 from 11 a.m. until time of Mass 12 Noon at St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy Church, 38 N. Austin Blvd., Oak Park. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy Church are appreciated. Info: 708-383-3191.

Helen & family - my sincere condolences are sent to the all of you. You have such a great loss. My prayers are with you during your loss of your beloved husband,father,a respected community member. I mourn your family's loss deeply. I will continue to pray for the you and the children and grandchild and all family members. May God continue to bless all of you during this time of mourning. God prepared you and now follow thru.
