Christie, William beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Janice (Arthur) Clafford, Sandra Christie and William (Debra), dear grandfather of Ava and Ian Clafford and William and Kailah Christie. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. and Funeral Service Friday, 11 a.m., at Nelson Funeral Home, 5149 N. Ashland (at Foster). Interment Glen Oak Cemetery. Memorials to the Anti-Cruelty Society, 157 Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60610 would be appreciated. Funeral Info: 773-561-5147.

Dear Sandy,
My deepest condolences on your sweet father's passing. I just found out on 11/25 from the good people @ Calo's. I first met your dad @ Simon's in the early 80's & saw him last just weeks before he passed. He was a sweet & friendly man who always had a minute to talk. I hope your health is good & that you still have a couple of dogs. Thinking of you. Swedish Tina from Simon's.
