May you rest in peace, Bill Cavanaugh. I will never forget you. Your BIG sense of humor, easy laugh, boyish charm and warm & generous heart. Here's to you, Stella! I'll miss you, keep you in prayer and look forward to seeing you again someday.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Peggy,
Our prayers are with your family. Bill was such a good man and such a great influence on our boys as a coach. I loved watching the SFC games with him. His children are a reflection of what a special person he was. We are sorry we will not be able to attend the services as I am out of town. I know St. Rita will be watching over Bill. I was lucky to have known him.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family I grew up with. I apologize for not being able to attend the services; if I wasn't in Iowa I'd surely be attending with the services with my parents.
Sincerely,
