William Barbaro Obituary

Barbaro, William N. age 88, Navy Veteran WWII, husband of Nancy (nee Baio), father of Donna-Marie (Jim) Frommeyer, grandfather of Caroline, Jim, Peter, Mary-Kate, and the late Elizabeth Mary. Served 35+ years with the Chicago Park District, and 50+ years with the Union League Club of Chicago. Bill was a friend of many and a servant of all. In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions for forgotten and unknown souls in purgatory are requested. Private Funeral Mass, Saint Clare of Montefalco Church, 2650 W. 55th St., with the rite of private committal at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Hillside, IL. In lieu of memorial luncheon, a donation was made to the Franciscan Missions to feed the hungry. Arrangements by Otto V. Stransky & Son Funeral Home. Info 773-778-0700.
