Willard Edwards Obituary

EDWARDS, WILLARD F., 85, of Seven Mile Road, Hope, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at home. He was the devoted husband of the late Mary (Raimondo) Edwards.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Willard and Mary (Nephew) Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a warehouseman for various companies and a security officer at the former Bulova Watch Company of Providence. He also worked in Environmental Services at Rhode Island Hospital until his retirement. Mr. Edwards was a member of Union Local #251.

He is survived by his two beloved children, Thomas W. Edwards and his wife Carol of Greenville, Maine and Patricia M. DiSciullo and her husband Steven of Hope. Mr. Edwards was the cherished grandfather of Wayne T. Edwards, Melissa DeFusco, Michelle Lamoureux and her husband Marc and the loving great-grandfather of Karleigh and Karissa Lamoureux. He was the brother of the late Florence Caligiuri.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 622 Washington Highway, Lincoln, RI 02865-9919. Pat and Steve you were so kind to open your home to your father so the last few months of his life were in your presence, with all of your love from the whole family.
