Wilhelmina Dietz       Obituary

Wilhelmina (Minnie) Dietz 1915 ~ 2004  Wilhelmina Dietz, loving mother, granny and great-granny passed away June 7, 2004.  She was born March 7, 1915 in Ft. Morgan, CO to George and Elizabeth Bohl Zwetzig. On April 26, 1936 she married Rinehart H. Dietz in Gering, NE. Her son Brian Dietz of St. George, UT and daughter Sylvia (Tom) Spangler of Sandy, UT; four grandchildren, eight great-grand-children and many loving nieces and nephews survive her. Preceded in death by her husband Rinie, daughter-in-law Judy Dietz and three brothers and four sisters. She was a member of the Highland Camera Club; Greater Denver Cinema Club and the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. Was a member of the Bakers & Confectioners Union Local 72. She loved to travel taking many photos with her husband and also loved to crochet, cook and care for her dog "Tippy". Minnie's gift to everyone around her was her loving heart and beautiful smile. The family would like to send a special thank you to her friends at Atria Assisted Living, more recent friends at Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center and the Hospice for Utah. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 11th, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery Chapel on East Alameda Ave and Quebec St. in Denver, CO.
