Mark and Denise,
We are sorry to hear about Whitney's passing and we apologize for not coming to the viewing. We didn't hear about it until it was too late. She really brightened a lot of people's lives and we're sure that she is doing the same in heaven right now.

My sister called me yesterday to tell me that our father had read an obituary in the newspaper and was greatly saddened by the death of a woman he remembered as a small 16 month old baby whom he laid his hands upon her head to give her a blessing. It was a monumental moment in his life. I asked my sister to write his story down and e-mail it to me, and she did. When I read the name Whitney Buchi, I realized that this was the daughter of my beloved bishop I had when I was a teenager. My heart goes out to you Bishop Buchi and Sister Buchi. Your family was much loved by ours.
Sincerely, Jodi Cannon Woodbury

My WONDERFUL Skyline Friend Denise, You have been an Angel for Whitney and seven other children. You adore and honor your sweet husband. As he adores and cherishes you. You have been given so many blessings, and a lot has been asked of you.
Rejoyce in Whitneys freedom. A burdened body that now embraces the Savior and sees the big picture of the plan. Emagine her joy as she hugs her ancestors and friends, you dad and Marks parents. Wow! Happy girl!
You loved her unconditionally. Very few of us have been given such a responsibility and opportunity. I stand in awe of the challenge you excepted.
Now Whitney can bless your life in different ways and be your support. Let yourself heal in the Saviors warm light and love. Give Him your emptyness and He will fill the void with contentment, peace and a new energy for your life and loved ones here. I know, the Savior will wait for your invitsation to heal you. His tender mercies will boost you through each day.
Forgive my presumptious nature, but I know...
Whitney will only have her peace as she sees you heal. She needs you to be happy, healing and whole...so she can progress. She loves you more than anyone, because you gave her so much. Be happier than happy for her. Start dancing with her, twirl and sing, jump and laugh out loud with her. Praise her for the brave struggle, listen and except her praises to you. She sees more clearly now, trust her!
You were her mother, her BFF, her guide, leader, her breath and sunshine. You were her strength and direction to the iron rod, in this temporal world of uncertainty. You were her security, protector, you gladly gave her a body. Can you just emagine her sweet little face as she can now recipercate all of those gifts to you. Let her!
I love you , My beautiful, fun loving, spiritual, endeared friend from Skyline High School.

Mark and Denise and Family, my love and prayers in the loss of your sweet Whitney, I am a former classmate from Granite High and I lived near Craig in Murray. I understand your loss as I lost my son Eric two years ago on Mothers Day from cancer. He was 35 , it is not easy losing family and especially losing a child no matter what their age. My heart goes out to you.

Mark and Denise ... we are so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved daughter.
Our twelve year old granddaughter passed away last year after a ten year battle with brain cancer. We can't say we know how you feel, but we do have some understanding of what you are going through.

How fortunate for Whitney that she arrived in your family to such great parents who provided for her and wonderful siblings who helped her find her way. While her challenges must have been difficult, you all made it possible for her to have the best possible life.
While I have not seen Whitney for a few years, what I will remember most is her smile.
Rest in peace Whitney and tell Marge hello and that I miss her a lot!

I was looking through the paper and saw this name and knew I had to make a comment. As an old friend you might not remember, I wanted to send to you a spirit of empathy and caring at this time of sorrow, and that you may be buoyed up as life goes on. Best to you and your family.

Whitney and I used to play on the swings in elementary together.
I remember pushing her, just a little so she wasn't too high, and she just loved it and would laugh so much.
I haven't seen her since elementary school but my thoughts and prayers are with her family! Such a beautiful spirit to have known.

Mark and Denise,
I have thought of Whitney many times over the years. Despite the circumstance, losing a child we love is a difficult life experience. Know you are in our prayers. Marian Hunt
