Thank you, Wesley, for the gift you have been in my life over so many years and for the treasure you have been to the church and staff of North Park Church. You will be missed greatly, but we rejoice that you are at last with your beloved Margaret. I thank GOd for your life!

Wesley's comment to me while running the sound booth at Ravenswood Covenant Church was always, "keep your hand on the volume button, as I tend to be a little loud". I can still hear you Wesley! Praise God for your memory, you've touched so many lives!

We celebrate with Joy for Wesley as he is dancing as we speak. For those left behind we grieve, but know that one day we WILL see him again and then WE will be dancing with HIM.

As a child growing up in the Covenant Church in Oakland, Wesley Nelson was my first pastor. What a wonderful start his ministry provided to my faith in God. I am thankful for the example of his intellect and understanding of God.

Heaven is rejoicing at Wesley's arrival. Remember in Stringband at Lakeview how we sang about the Train Bound for Heaven? I read Wesley's book many years ago, "Crying for My Mother", and wonder if the Lord took him home to glory - on his beloved trains.
